This is third or fourth SnaggleTooth I've purchased. I am used to my FANG on my Spyderco. That is the perfect size for waving a knife. The SnaggleTooth regular is too small to be 100 percent operational on a massive folder blade like the Recon 1 XL. I've been looking at methods to add an extension or a hood over the Snaggle to give it more bite. So far the easiest method would be mill a flat on the Snaggle and drill and tap it for a larger plate. The plate would have a slot to fit over the Snaggle so it won't rotate. I've checked about using the XL SnaggleTooth, but reviews say it won't fit the Recon 1 XL. I even specified this was not a regular Recon 1 when ordering. Maybe I'll pick up an XL and see if I can make it work.
Immediately ordered another one for my ad-10 after installing this on my recon…the added ability for a locked in feel when gripping was in itself worth the cost. Easy install and took less than a week to get it
Great product with fast and reliable deployment. I have twin cold steel frenzy’s. One frenzy has a polymer snaggletooth while the other is aluminum. Both work great!!! Would buy again.

I have severe issues with my hands after my heart attack making opening most of my knives a chore. With Snaggletooth, that is no longer an issue... I have several on my knives and will be getting more! Opens the blade right out of the pocket... no muss or fuss... Faster than an auto! Thank you Roberto! You have opened up a much broader selection of EDC for me, and I am eternally Grateful!
