Just got the new design with the offset ring and its not as comfortable as I hoped it would be. Offset make a wierd grip angle as a pinky ring and an awkward finger ring when ice picking. The offset makes waistband draw not as intuitive as an in-line ring would be. Also with the offset the blade swings close enough to hit fingers. Jumped on this one cause I missed out on the original, but now I wish I waited to see if the in-line ring would become available agian.

I love the design with the end point and the grippy spikes on the back, but honestly it’s a little uncomfortable with it being straight at the bottom. It makes it hard to sink your hand into it. I think if it was a little offset towards the inside of the grip it would be a bit more ergonomic and I would absolutely love it. Unfortunately, the straight down placement of the ring makes a blade up/pinky in ring grip impossible for me. Only Icepick/index finger in ring grip is doable.
